I would stop using the sit in walker and get one he can push and hold onto x
My boy is 13 months now and still not walking. He is trying, can do a couple of steps but he’s so fast at crawling I just think he prefers that. He’ll get there though. Definitely echo the above to get rid of the sit in walker, my little boy has been using a wooden one you push since about 10/11 months and he got so much stronger at standing and walking with that x
They're all different, my son was a bit later crawling and is just starting to try and pull up on furniture - google says he's late doing it, but it is very generic. HV can recommend activities if you're concerned.
Absolutely normal, my eldest didn’t until 14/15 months :) my October baby is nearly walking but every baby is different! Xx
My LO is one at the end of October (Halloween baby) she was later crawling then my friends babies but she sat up from four months! She also wanted to be stood up all the time! Now she is crawling she has NO interest in standing or walking. She will pull herself up things but that’s about it. When I spoke to the HV they said it tends to happen as they are confident in one area and will master it if that makes sense!
Stand and push walker worked well for my lo, saw improvements 2 days after using it
If it makes you feel any better my boy is 1 on Halloween and still doesn’t even pull himself up, if we try and hold him up to stand, his legs just fold underneath him. He has no interest in it! He’s quite happy crawling around and has quite some speed now
@Alice birthday buddies 😆😆 my little one is the same with her legs but will happily stand if pulling herself up, all on her terms!
I second all babies are different. My daughter didn't walk till 18-19 months bum shuffled etc, but talked early. My son, who's one on Sunday, who's cruising and standing close to walking on his own. But not talking like his sister. Really don't worry, they will get there in their own time. But maybe change things up a little. Might help😊
My little girl is 1 on the 31st and she’s only just started crawling. She doesn’t stand or anything yet
My baby will be 1 very soon and doesn’t stand independently or walk 😊 it’s not a concern until closer to 18 months. I would ditch the sit in walker though and get one he can hold onto and walk with. The sit in ones don’t actually help them and can hinder things x
