Fertility awareness. I started by reading the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility”. I track my cycle and symptoms. We would pull out around my ovulation and avoid intercourse on the actual 3 days of ovulation. Now he has a vasectomy but I still track my own cycle, just not as a closely.
Condoms. But I’d be okay with a surprise pregnancy - if you really don’t want a baby, look up the effectiveness of each method and either choose something >99% effective or use multiple methods such as condoms and fertility awareness together (this would mean only have sex on infertile days and use a condom 100% of the time)
My spouse got a vasectomy, but before that we used condoms
I haven’t been on BC since 2015. We just use condoms. Im supposed to get a hysterectomy next year
Oura ring and natural cycles and occasionally ovulation tests
Tracking my cycle, my ovulation symptoms are super obvious.
I would prefer to track but that's how I ended up with 2 under 2 so idk if I'll wait to get my period before tracking again or just say fuck it and use bc. I'm breastfeeding so still no period.
Condoms and then my partner had the snip. Tracking ovulation does NOT work
Currently TTC again but we just used condoms up until we wanted to try for another
Currently using condoms. Did the rhythm method for about 18ish months before my second baby so I plan on doing that again when my periods are more regular
Condoms and being very aware of my cycle. I've been tracking my cycle for YEARS. When we weren't trying for a baby we would always use condoms. Around fertile window we would either pull out (with condom still, we weren't playing haha) or avoid sex all together
Condoms. Track your cycle
Same as Raqi, my husbands been snipped
I don’t have sex 🤷🏼♀️🤣

My tubes were removed after baby #2😅 prior to that, IUD. I have PCOS and still wasn't risking it😅
Pulling out, track your ovulation and your periods.
@Cait same
Cycle tracking. In 10 years I’ve got pregnant once, when we wanted to.
Tracking my ovulation, he can Finnish himself off…
The pull out method is not as effective as every other contraceptive. You still risk getting pregnant off pre-cum. If you choose to use the pull out method and are adamant you don't want children, I would also track your cycle, avoid sex for the 5 days before your fertile window and the few days of said window and use condoms. I've read quite a few stories on this app of people not really using protection or using the pull out method and then acting all surprised when they are pregnant. Educate yourself, do research, talk to doctors, and make the decision that is right for you.
@Hannah very true but some of us are severely allergic to birth control and latex me being one. When we are done my husband is getting the clip
@Kamryn🇲🇽, I am aware, and that sucks. You can get latex free condoms. It's also why I said do the research and make the choice that is right for you.
We use condón and once we're done with babies, my partner plan to have a vasectomy
Ovulation tracking.
I don't have sex or very, very very, very rarely when sex happens a condom is used. We co sleep most of the time so it just doesn't happen
@Cait how does ovulation tracking work? I've never have, not sure how to begin
tracking ovulation and plan b pill lol
Ovulation tracking and pull out. Never had an unexpected positive in almost 10 years
