I'm at breaking point

For the last 2 weeks my 3 year olds behaviour has gone to total chaos he is refusing to get dressed get his bum changed won't use the toilet throwing things at his 7 month old brother kicking punching everyone . I have tried all the gentle hands and distractions bribing him repeatedly asking forcing him. Any advice on how to get through this phase how to help him please be much appreciated

are his sensory needs being met? my oldest always acted “crazy” before we understood his needs better

@Dakota how do you know? I’m having lots of meltdowns with my son at the minute and I have no idea what to do for him!

@Emma They’re all so different so it’s very specific to your kiddo. Are you noticing consistent meltdowns at certain times or with certain activities/environments?

Getting dressed changing him school related normally

@Dakota I think a big one for me is the toilet!! He will fight and fight. Bedtime can also be a nightmare but most of the time that is my fault letting him get too tired! Obviously 9/10 I just let him have his meltdown and just calmly carry on but when you have got to get him somewhere, it’s hard to be that relaxed!
