It takes a while for the eyes to adapt to it. I’d worry if it was every day for weeks on.
If it was just for a moment he will be fine! Probably it just freaked him out and that's why he rubbed his eyes
He will be fine
He was getting used to the blurriness of the glasses after he took them off. I don’t think it’s anything to be worried about, if you want you can test him around 4 just before school starts
why grandparents do things that gave us anxiety 😬 our grandma also try to feed him cookies and sugary or salty stuff she literally sneaks from me and put things in his mouth when i’m not around and hides when i come. and show him everything on her phone . she doesn’t respect my boundaries at all. and she always says i have raised kids as well . the kids she raised turned out to be diabetic and high blood pressure patients in late 20s including my husband.
Think he will be ok 👌🏻
He will be fine it was only one time for a moment as you said. It's normal to rub your eyes after putting on a strong prescription as it makes your eyes go funny for few seconds
My nice steals my glasses and puts them on all the time. They’d have to be on for a really long time to impact their vision in any way. You’ll be fine
So I’m really anxious about this stuff because that’s how I got glasses. I was an idiot when I was younger (talking like 5-6yo) and used to wear my friends glasses as a joke but this would happen everyday for like an hour or so. And then bam! Now I have glasses for life… had to get them at 7yo 🤦🏽♀️ So I’ve said to mum in law never do that to my child period. If u do I’m walking away and not coming back 😂 it’s a hard boundary of mine. But again if it’s for a minute or so I’m sure your child will be fine just say don’t repeat it
I used to wear my friend's glasses all the time in school. Like length of recess time. My eyes are still 20/20 20 years later.
Yeah my in laws have done this a few times and she’s been fine since
