Christmas

What presents are you getting your little ones this Christmas? We are very tight for cash so we only want to get her toys/books that are educational and have longevity! She doesn’t really have a favourite toy tbh she’s very into her books and wants to spend time with us mainly 😅. Please spam me with your ideas 😍

We aren’t exactly well off at the minute either so been buying second hand bits that are in new condition, they don’t know any different at this age and to me it’s helping other people out, but I will be buying him some bits from a shop. I would say maybe some wooden toys that are suitable from 2 years as they will be nearly 2, Lidl currently has their wooden toy event on there’s some good stuff and reasonably priced. X

I have 3 under 3 and this year christmas is going to be different. We are actually away at butins for Christmas from the 20th to the 27th. As you can imagine going at that time it wasn't cheap so for presents this year they will be getting 1 main present and then a few things we will buy them there that they ask for. I'm thinking £50 max per child... (Don't know if that's too much or me being tight) but the holiday it's self has cost us £1500.

Few wooden toys from Aldi, a couple bits of clothes in 2-3 and good chance she’s having a new bed for her birthday 🤣

We got one of the Aldi wooden kitchens with some accessories, the drawing easel from IKEA and a baby doll pram as she's doll obsessed. Baby brother is joining us next month, so going back on maternity leave means money will be tight too x

Definitely check around your local charity shops for toys/games! My local charity shop also does 4 for £1 on childrens books! They probably just need a clean with an antibacterial wipe and some new batteries! Xx

I'm shopping at locally Baby Bootfairs/Nearly New Sales and Facebook marketplace. Picked up a doll with lots of clothes to practice identifying clothes and getting dressed. Picked up some preloved tiny town toys last year when she was like 8m old for when she was 2-3yrs old (cars/buildings/road map rug) which I'll give to her this Xmas/birthday. Aquadoodle is pretty affordable if you don't already have one? Little plastics trucks from charity shops. Farm, woodland and zoo animal figurines
