Depends on the hospital. Ours they're not allowed to stay after 10pm
At my hospital, if your on ward partner must go home overnight. If in labouring room or postpartum room, partner can stay x
It would depend on your hospital, so deffo ask at your next appointment. My partner stayed every night with me, and luckily he got his own bed too! X
It varies hospital to hospital. I had the choice of two hospitals as I live between both. One allows partners to stay for the duration of your hospital stay, the other only allows them on the labour ward but once baby is born (or if you’re on the day ward before the labour ward like with induction) partners can only come during visiting hours. So I chose the one where my partner could stay.
Think it depends on hospital. Our partners are allowed to stay the whole time but my husband will be going home rather than stay over the night if I have to stay as they don’t provide any facilities for the partners (bed, shower, food etc) and we have a toddler at home ☺️ I’ve told him to go home and get some sleep rather than both of us be exhausted at the hospital!
