Hi

Hi, I am 38, on pregnancy 16, I’ve 4 children 19,14,12&8. In 3 years me and my partner have had 8 mc in a row and currently we are at 7w5d. I have had two scans at 5w6d and 7w3d and baby seems to be doing well. I did however start progesterone as soon as I had a positive test this time at around 4w. I’ve now also been put on baby aspirin too. Has anyone found starting progesterone straight away rather than 6 weeks plus to be a better outcome?

Hey lovely! So sorry to hear you have been through this many times 😔 I’ve had many miscarriages in the past past and ended up doing IVF with my last son and now I’m currently pregnant naturally with my second one and I started taking progesterone 4 days before my period started as I had a faint positive line. I believe this has helped massively as in the past I’ve had very low progesterone and I’m currently 13 weeks! With my son my IVF clinic started me on progesterone on the day of transfer so that would be the two week wait and the outcome helped me massively! There’s nothing bad In taking it early so if you are able to it can help. Good luck hun!! X

@Sarah-Louise thank you. I’m currently now 19 weeks 1 day with a baby boy 💙

Congratulations 🥰
