Hurricanes
Good afternoon ladies! My family and I may possibly be moving to Columbia later this year or early next year. I have many questions but right now I'm just starting with this. How often would you say is Columbia impacted by hurricanes? I did some research and it does say that Columbia is close enough to the coast that it can receive some bad impacts from hurricanes and tropical storms. This concerns me and may impact our decision whether or not my husband takes the job offer in Columbia.

I’ve been here almost two years am hubby since childhood.. Ive only experienced a ton of rain. He’s never mentioned anything outside of rain, wind, and the power going out. And certain areas or streets flooding like what was mentioned above, but not like what you’d get if you were on the coast
I’ve been here for 3 years and the only thing I’ve experienced is high winds and a lot of rain. Depending on where you stay, you may experience flooding. But, I feel we don’t get hit as bad. But, someone who’s stayed here longer may feel different lol.
