@Charlotte if it soothed him I would think but it’s literally hours on end and ultimately wakes him up every hour- 2 hours 😭x
Our little girl went through a phase of banging her head off her cot on purpose and we just put it down to a phase and the HV said the same. She stopped doing it after a while but she never got any bruises from it etc so I would definitely mention it at your appt xx
@Courtney thank you x
My daughter does this purely to wake herself up 🤷🏼♀️
It's sensory seeking, totally developmentally appropriate at this age. He basically just likes how it feels and is playing.
My lg does this when she’s teething. Not enough to cause bruising but she definitely rocks her head from side to side when asleep and in a ‘nodding’ motion when awake and active when she’s uncomfortable with her teeth x
@Kateland thanks I went to the paediatrician today they have referred me to someone who deals with sleep as it’s on the extreme side xx
