Second the tommee tippee one it's big and spacious fits alot in.
I used the Milton cold water steriliser bucket and tablets with number 1! Big fan and cheap and you don’t need to dry them
If you’re using mam bottles you don’t need a steriliser or tablets as you just take the bottles apart, wash them, add some water to the bottom and assemble as shown and stick in the microwave for 3 mins and they are sterile. 🥰 will show you how to assemble on the mam bottle pack/ or google 😘 so much easier xxx
I’m using the Milton tablets, they have like a big tub on Amazon that you can use to sterilise them
My SIL said the steam ones are awful because they get so dirty
It is confusing and is the reason I delayed even trying a bottle for months and then she wouldn’t take one. Anyways we did get a Tommee Tippee UV Steriliser off marketplace for £40 (would recommend looking second hand as so many get light use). It’s big but that’s good as can fit a lot in. The drying/uv cycle takes 60mins and then can be used to store. Even though it says self sterilising they are still meant to be sterilised just quicker via microwave. The microwave/steam ones can be quite drippy and very hot to touch but it’s a good starting point if already have a microwave. Again would recommend marketplace.
I have the tommee tippee microwave steriliser and also used the same tub to use Milton tablets with my first so will be doing same again. So handy if travelling too, always have access to cold water in hotel rooms etc.
If you are just sterilising bottles/dummies/pump parts occasionally for a mainly breastfed baby then the Tommee tippee microwave one is good. I would always recommend the Vital Baby UV steriliser as although it’s expensive it’s really quick and it has drying mode. If you formula feed you’ll be going through a lot of bottles and this will help you!
