Is my baby "bad"?

My partner keeps saying our son is "bad" because he grabs our faces and throws his toys. But he's 10 months and I think it's juts normal behaviour. He's generally very happy and everyone says how alert and smiley he is but my partner just thinks he should be calm and sit still all the time. I keep telling him this is normal baby behaviour but he's telling people our son is "hard work". Really annoying Do you think this behaviour is "bad"?

No, your baby is normal and going through the usual developmental phases.

Its normal my daughter's the same!

My son is the same age and does the same things - definitely developmentally normal and not bad

Haha can't wait to hear what he thinks about them as toddlers - even more throwing, tantrums and lots of 'no' 😂😂 No baby is bad! They're learning so much so quickly, throwing and grabbing is all part of their development.

My daughter is the same she’s throwing tantrums and slapping my face lol it hurts but it’s a phase

No a baby can’t be “bad” they’re a baby!🤦🏽‍♀️

Perfectly normal, just tell him your baby doesn't know "good behaviour" from "bad behaviour" and won't do for a while, it's something you learn and you're not born with. Hopefully he will start to understand soon

Omg my LO headbutts, slaps, grabs and squeezes, scratches, pulls hair, throws everything she can reach and is generally just really inquisitive about how things feel and what happens to them when they fall or are thrown. I think it's definitely normal xx
