Constipation

Toddler doesn’t eat much but will eat breakfast/snacks and maybe half a dinner a day. However she’s still passing hard/dark pebbly stools, I’ve swapped her milk to lactose free and that hasn’t helped, she drinks a lot of water and she’s active I’m not sure what else it could be😭

Following, ours is the same :(

@Laura Oh bless her! Have you spoken to anybody about it? My doctors told me to do all of the above but it hasn’t helped x

She has seen a paediatrician, her dad has Crohn's disease so we were double checking where we stood with that. They prescribed prune packets 😂 so we give her half daily which stops the poo being so hard. Any more than half and she goes the complete other way x

@Laura Is this something I could buy from the chemist or is it just prescription based? Oh that’s good then it’s stopping them being so hard. I’m worried about the long term effects of it all :( x

My childminder always says to up fruit and fibre. But if my boy doesn't want it, I give him lactulose which sorts him out very quickly. I suffer with bad tummy so I don't want him to suffer like me xx

Have you tried senna leaves for them to drink?
