My kids don’t have the issue but my cousin who I watch does she gets a fiber supplement vitamin once a day and it keeps her regular!
Lots of water and fiber, like mango and greens. Usually make a smoothie
We do canned pears and prune pouches!! Simple and works for my kid
we had a bad couple of months with on and off constipation and our pediatrician had me do 2 teaspoons of miralax into juice or water everyday until she started having daily BMs

I use Castor oil for constipation if I’ve tried everything else. It works but I don’t think it’s meant to be used on a regular basis. He poops about twice a day.
My kid’s bowel movement or lack of has been consuming my life for the last 2 years….Prunes plums peaches iff that doesn’t work prune juice and apple juice the sugar/sorbital helps and if that doesn’t work.. pedialax gel if it’s been a few days. U can also try miralax if all fruits haven’t helped. Avoid dairy and bananas until poop
