Maybe trying using ovulation kit and see, if not talk to your OB about wanting a blood test. They currently put me provera to force my period and I will be testing once I am done with my period.
Yes you would have to find out with blood tests. But I can highly recommend taking myo inositol I was getting 3/4 periods a year and then started taking this and I get a period every month like clockwork and managed to conceive. I discovered it whilst on a waiting list for ivf!
I am taking myo inositol but so far hasn’t seemed to do anything, ovulation tests don’t seem to work for me which I don’t understand 😰
I found ovulation test don’t work when you have pcos. Mine was always positive and I don’t even ovulation.
Your probably need ovulation induction meds like Letrozole or Clomid. Talk to your doctor. Thankfully Letrozole is super cheap.
I can’t have help as my bmi is too high they won’t give it too me
They won't even give you letrozole? That seems ridiculous (not upset with you, but the health system)!
What the heck? My doctor was like I can’t prescribe you that as well at first and I told them is there an another one that I can go to cause my friends doctor were able to prescribe that for her. And then they finally gave me, after going back and forth for an hour. It your body, they should give it to you.
Plus they should be able to give it to you, after all you the one that make decisions for your body. If you going to doctor and still not sure what to do then I would recommend for you to change it, or tell them you want a second opinion that what I did and they proscribe me provera for 10 and letrozole for 5dayd
I have found that charting cervical fluid and BBT to be the most reliable way of knowing when I ovulate successfully. Now I’m at the point where I can tell whether I ovulated or whether my body tried, but did t quite succeed. It’s really helpful!
I found out I wasn’t ovulating with a blood test.
