If it’s been over a week, they should definitely see you to make sure there nothing wrong. Regarding the amount, I had such heavy periods after my first baby, I’d wear a massive pad inside adult nappies and need to change every half hour to an hour for the first few days. Don’t know if that’s normal but that was my experience. Maybe try ringing again and hopefully you’ll get someone different on the phone who can be more helpful
@Huney. Wow! This gives me a bit of peace then. Thanks for sharing that 🫶🏻
@Berlind This is very helpful to know thank you. I go back on Friday for them to check my wound so if still bleeding then I will mention it 🫶🏻
Of course! Also everyone’s period sort of changes too. Your normal length may shorten or extend. Let me just say I bled for almost 2 weeks and it was just my period. The way that I had it explain was the first year is the heaviest because there’s a lot of build up from afterbirth that your uterus is trying to shed so it’s very different from what the original period may be!! I rang my doctor like 3-4 times LOL . All in doubt? Go ahead and call :) nothing wrong with seeing for sure but I wouldn’t stress it too badly!!
My first period again, I was bleeding through an adult diaper within 3 hours
