Haven’t gotten my son’s cut yet. He’ll be 2 in February
It probably would vary on the hair /curl type. But even if you're not doing a full cut, try introducing the experience - combs, drape, spray bottle, trimmer sounds/feel. I used to cut hair, and would have new kids play for a bit before I started. That being said, i started as soon as they could sit up and I have 1 kid who LOVES a cut and 1 who turns demonic. So 50/50 🙃🤷🏻♀️
A little over 1.5 years
Shaved bald at 3m and a cut at 13m coz it was over his eyes and we had to tie it up for him to eat properly. From there his next one was 2.5 because we tied it up into a ponytail lol, he was assumed a girl for like 2yrs lol. I researched and watched a bunch of YT vids on boys haircuts and bought my own razor and cut it myself
I think our boy was 10/11 months old for his first hair cut x
My boy had his cut at 16m . It was far to long and getting in his eyes
My son was 2
He had multiple haircuts after 1 because his hair kept getting in his eyes. We would like it like just trimmed to be able to see
I took my son to get his haircut when he was like 11 months old
We got ours at 18 months. He has fine hair. It was long on the top and wouldn’t take gel or anything he constantly looked like his hair was never brushed.
I have trimmed my sons up till he was 2 then I did a proper cut (left it long on top as he has nice curls). Now I just maintain it monthlyish. I haven’t taken him for a real haircut though. Hes almost 3
