@Brittany right like it’s so aggravating but kind of funny because they’re turning into like their own person but sometimes it gets so annoying because when we are running late he gives me such a problem and just wants to do his own thing on his time😂😂 i’m like sir i need to get to work and your trying to play with your toys🤦♀️😂
@Brittany same. We have been very independent since about 16 months.
Best advice I have is to try and get them involved. Mine loves being involved in all of it. If it’s diaper have him help hang you diaper or cream or wipes. If it’s eating help prepping the food. Help pour water for themselves.
Like even when he falls and hurts himself he doesn't want comfort. He's just like I'm a big boy i don't need you. But buddy mom wants to love on you
@Brittany my son has delayed speech, but the first thing in the almost only thing he said is no, and he has perfected it just now that he has a little brother he’s starting to speak more and terrible twos started like two weeks prior to being two I could physically see him testing me
When he does something he knows he shouldn't he looks at you and says "hi" in the sweetest tone 😅 where did you learn that sir
@Brittany lol mine smiles then comes hugs me and kisses me like he wasn’t just about to do something I told him not to do
We started doing standing diaper changes and my son loves it!!
😅 been going through this since he was like 16m. Currently NO is our favorite word and I hateee it
