No idea about what the NHS says but my first hated it. My second loooves it. Guess it just depends on the child. Personally I think they're really fun for a short time as it encourages baby to push off their legs.
We have one and my little girl loves it. She's in it for maybe 20 minutes a day and it's great for when I really just need time to make myself some food.
I put my baby in her jumperoo sometimes 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes. She loves it!!
I haven’t got one purely because of space. Don’t think nhs comments but I have seen videos online talking about how they’re not great as they cause babies to learn to stand on their feet differently than if they didn’t have one. No idea if that’s true/really an issue but worth a google search x
Not recommend by Baby PT’s (friend is one) as it’s not great for hip development apparently and can lead to toe walking x
@Jessica toe walking is down to the height you have them at. I always make sure she can put her feet flat. My cousin toe walks due to bouncers being the wrong height for her as a baby
I can't see anything on the NHS site that says not to use them. All the site says is to not use them for more than 20 mins at a time. We have a door bouncy due to lack of space and our little one loves it.
