I’ve been stocking up on vinted for a while (bundles are your friend!) but I’ve got a small amount in tiny baby and newborn but the majority in 0-3 and 3-6. I’ve got a few outfits for each age range but know it’s mainly bodysuits / sleep suits they’ll be in so have 20 of each! Will that be enough? Or too much? Not a clue but it means I have a nice selection 😂

@Deanna I have a few bits coming from Vinted! I think I’d rather have too much than stress when everything’s in the wash and not have enough

They grow really fast so I wouldn’t spend too much on the 0-3 or smaller outfits all they’ll do is leave most stained or outgrow them very fast. One thing to bear in mind is the seasons - what will they be wearing in Feb - March - May as may not be same temp as selling at the moment. Can’t have enough muslins!

I wouldn’t get too much in smaller sizes before they arrive as it’s really hard to know what size they will be. I’ve got some friends whose babies have gone straight into 0-3! My daughter was predicted to be slightly bigger so I didn’t really get any newborn stuff, she ended up an average weight and we just bought a few more newborn sleepsuits when she was here. We’re having a boy this time and I’m trying my hardest to not buy too much stuff in advance! Like someone else has commented it, it’s hard to know what the weather willl be doing, March/April could be really mild or it could still be super cold! I also found first time around lots of people buy you 0-3 or 3-6 month sized stuff. I also went overboard with buying muslins but my daughter wasn’t ever sick when feeding so we really didn’t use them that often but lots of people had said to have loads as we’d go through them constantly. All that said, it’s really exciting to buy baby bits and to feel organised!

I've just bought a bundle of 14 vests and 14 sleepsuits from Vinted in newborn size. I'll probably buy about the same in 0-3. With my first I found what mattered was what colour I bought as if all white (or pink/blue etc) you can chuck them all in the wash together so they weren't sitting in the basket. If you find you need more once baby's here you can easily do an online order for more or pop to one of the supermarkets.

I had a small meltdown last week about not knowing how many bodysuits in what sleeve lengths to buy, felt like I was failing at the first thing I tried to do….i just felt like i was expected to know this stuff! I’ve since just bulk ordered some M&S items, they do good 7 packs of basics and you 10% off with their parenting club thing. I had to make a list as I got overwhelmed with remembering what I had….the overwhelm is constant in our house! I may have overbought newborn, considering swapping some out, I just don’t know! I figure if I have some in each size, I can easily order more when I know what size we need and what type of thing we’re using. This is what I have, if it helps!
