@Taia do you only get that much every month? Or is it your first month claiming? If so you don’t get paid it until after the childcare has happened
Yes, on top. You will get 85% of what you pay no matter how much, up to a certain amount I think it’s just over £1000. For example my daughter’s nursery is £772 a month and I get paid £656.20 from UC x

Yes it just gets paid the same time your usual payment comes in, but don’t expect the whole 85% back, I pay £125 a month for nursery & got £22 back 😂
