Low lying placenta

I had a low lying placenta at 20 weeks….had a repeat scan at 23 and the placenta had moved right to the top as had baby. Mad how much it all moved and I was just unaware….try not to worry xxx

Oh wow Emma that’s reassuring! Did they give you any advice when you were told you had it? I didn’t really get anything. I’m meant to be going on a long haul flight and no one seems to have the answer as to whether it’s safe or not! Xx

No they just said don’t worry it often moves up in time and if it doesn’t we will scan you more….i did the same as you, googled it! Panicked for 3 weeks straight thinking the worst….but all was fine in the end…..and even if it doesn’t move up, you will be monitored so so closely. I know it’s hard but honestly try not to worry and just trust your body will do what it needs xxx
