Big potty? Anyone let their kid sit on the regular potty instead of a modified seat?

So I have one of those toilets where the kid seat sits inside the regular lid. But recently my husband said our kid is too big for it and it’s hard to clean his butt. (Note still struggling to teach proper wiping, but he’s like 80% there). The real question is, are your kids graduating to just the regular seat? Or would their little bums fall in?

My almost 5.5 year old has been using the regular seat for awhile, maybe a year. My 3.5 year old would fall in though lol.

My 5 year old never used a potty he went straight to the big boy potty as he calls it lol

My kid will be 5 in December and has been sitting on a regular potty no problem for probably 6+ months. He's small for his age too, no problem.

My son has been on a regular toilet seat for years. . . .

My 4yo has been on the regular seat since potty training at 2. I ught a training potty and a potty seat, neither were ever really used 🤷‍♀️ *she still refuses to even try to wipe her backside though 😅

My 3 and 5 year old are both on the regular potty and no issues

My kids have been using the regular seat since they were 3

Thank you all. I still get nervous about my first one. This was super reassuring. 🥰

My girl just turned 5 october 15th, she gave up her little seat all by herself before she turned 4 years old. She still refuses to wipe her bum though most days 😅 she says she's afraid she will get poo on her hands 🤣 we've been encouraging her and sometimes she will but other times she just yells for us to help.

I got one of those seats too but my son ended up lifting it up and sitting on the regular one because it was too small.
