All the above has been used and will continue to be used!!! No shame

“You wanna watch Bluey?”

I usually try not to bribe. But my husband, a gamer, has VERY CONVENIENTLY started bonding with our 5yo by hubby playing games and kiddo watching. Kiddo loves it. So hubby will say "if you eat all your dinner you can watch me play a game". Then the pressure is on ME to serve the exact amount my kiddo is hungry for, and no more.

none. we try and stay firm and disciplined in our parenting but once the kids are older i’d like to teach them about compromising lol but not yet and not bribing

Screen time haha. If he’s sick or super cranky or I just need a break to do anything I’ll put on a show or movie he likes so I can either cook or clean or sometimes I just need to sit on the couch with them and cuddle

Usually playing outside more, going on a walk or to get a treat somewhere

Shouldn’t be a bribe but rather a reward as they shouldn’t have to be given an incentive to act well, this should be a standard. Otherwise they’ll only act good if you give them something. However, if they’ve been really well behaved all week and you want to give them a reward such as a bit of (or extra) screen time at the weekend then that’s a reward!

Sticker, she has a reward chart and we have to remind her that she won’t get her sticker if she’s naughty and theres different types of stickers, like a shiny one is for if shes absolutely amazing all day then if she gets a certain amount of shiny ones she gets an extra special treat at the end of the month 😁
