ADHD or normal toddler behaviour?

There’s ADHD in my family and I’m pretty sure I have it too. So I’ve always been on the lookout for signs in my toddler I guess. He has been using full sentences (and quite complex ones at that) for a long time. Every time we meet new people they always mention it. But I’ve also noticed that he NEVER stops talking. Bedtime is the worst because he just can not stop! I’m starting to wonder if it would be worth taking him to the dr. Has anyone else experienced this?

My 3 year old is EXACTLY the same. She is very intelligent and you can see her little brain going 100mph but it's also resulting in horrendous tempers where she is consumed by so much rage but I honestly think it's down to her not being able to regulate her emotions fast enough! We also have ADHD in our family and my 5 year old niece has just been diagnosed bless her so I really do believe kids are showing the signs alot younger in this day and age with the information we have available to us!

We also have ADHD in the family from My nephew, and sure my husband has it too, maybe even myself My daughter is very similar and I’ve wondered if she has it too

My 3 year old is the same. I have quite intense ADHD and my worry was that she would too. She talks all day long, can’t sit still, not even to watch tv like some kids get engrossed in things she doesn’t. She can’t eat a meal so I have to put on screen time. There’s no ‘chill’ at all unless she’s asleep and that takes ages at night because she doesn’t stop and finds it hard to unwind X

It’s so tough isn’t it! I feel so guilty but I’ve hit the point where I can not stand the constant talking! He’s been waking up at 5:30 every morning and it’s just non stop until he eventually falls asleep around 8:30pm. My patience and tolerance seem to have disappeared. I’m finding him really frustrating.

It is tough. We have a 4 month old so my patience is thin and I feel horrendously guilty. There has been days when I’m in tears feeling like I’m not good enough for them. This all being said, I still hope that this is just toddler behaviour.

My little girl is 3 and my word she doesn’t shut up either. She also has the worst temper tantrums over the smallest things. She rarely stops to sit down and doesn’t focus on anything for longer than 5 minutes. Her dad has ADHD so I always wonder the same…..
