C section healing
I had my baby boy on the 19th and needed an emergency c section. The sides of my incision busted open and i went to the ER. They didn't glue the incision back and only put pressure and gauze. Has anyone else had their incision bust open? Did doctors get it closed back?

Thank you so much for that. I'm fine now the incision actually closed up thank God. I'm still nervous about it coming open again so I just keep the gauze and surgical dressing on it constantly lol along with my abdominal binder

Not a section scar but I had parts of my incision from my spinal surgery open when they took the staples out and they just told me to keep gauze on it until it healed.. that was 12 years ago.. however, if your not comfortable doing what they said you can always request that it be dealt with how you feel comfortable..
