Is she being annoying or am I overreacting?
My friend keep saying my gift is coming. First she wrote to me like 2-3 times to ask if I got it. My building had a front desk that holds packages and I told her that. When I check it’s not there. Then she says her sister got it delivered to her house instead by mistake and then she give me another update that it’s in its way overnight . Now she sends me a screenshot that it’s coming October 28. Like jeez just let me get it when I get it . I told her again to not worry the front desk holds the packages for me. & thanked her again

It's a bit annoying, but she just sounds anxious tbh.
I did this to my sister. Then she never even told me she got it or if she liked it. I have anxiety and I spent a lot of effort on the gift. Probably won't put the effort in or check in again about the gift. That's imput from the other side.🫠 I was just really excited for her to get it.
@Natalie oh no I have a baby registry so everytime i saw someone purchased something I would say thanks .. this gift for some reason doesn’t show on the registry but I told her in the beginning I would let her know when I get it .

It's just updates. What's the harm in you reading an update? She might be anxious about you receiving, if it's expensive or you thinking she hasn't really sent you anything, so she wants to assure you? She probably thinks you are excited to receive her gift and, I think, nicely, keeping you informed.
