To be fair being too organised isn’t helpful either. I packed my bag a few weeks ago and have spent the time since having to pull stuff out because I wanted to wear my comfy pants or I wanted something else. Repacking tomorrow and NOT touching it again.
@Stephanie I think this is part of it - but then I’m also washing and rewashing my comfiest wear-all-the-time stuff because I want it to be clean when it finally goes in the bag, and what if he comes before I’ve had time to do the laundry 😱😱😱 like THIS is the labour stuff I should be worrying about 🙄
I went into labour a week and a half early and my husband had to pack the hospital bag and we were running that behind I delivered bubs at home haha
@Monica omg! That’s the inspo I need to get moving!
I'm 38 weeks and only just looking at packing my bag now. I've been trying to do it for a few weeks but just haven't gotten around to it, been putting it off. It's not fully packed but at least it has something in it now.
I was so organised with my first. This time, not so much. My bag is packed but her room has become a dumping a ground 🤣
I was like this with my first and literally throwing things in during labour because he came early 🤣 I didn't even have a list 🙈 whereas this time around I made a list and have pretty much everything packed with the exception of a couple of things because I learnt my lesson of not being prepared. Maybe try doing a little bit everyday so it doesn't feel so overwhelming?
