@luu🤎 omg you are so right!! I forgot about that app we actually have it on our tv as well! I used to watch it as kid really great and kid friendly shows!!
my kids looove some of the things on there. alma’s way, lyla in the loop, wild kratts. soo many good things and the age range is so broad bc the content is appropriate and educational
Not in my 20s (sorry) but this popped up in my feed and I have to say I agree. My kids aren't able to navigate the TV yet by themselves but anytime we've brought up the YouTube app they're asking to watch the dumbest crap. Sometimes we let them but try to keep it very limited. If we allowed it I think they'd sit there all day and watch videos of dancing skeletons and miniature baking and other people opening and playing with toys.
If you want to use YouTube, download the YoutubeKids app. My daughter has this on the tv but I’ve fully locked it down. There’s only 5 channels she can access (no searching options or any of that). So she can see Ben & Holly, Sesame Street, Bluey, Ms Rachel and Teletubbies. That’s it. No weird ads, no creepy new content with strange kids and their dads and all the other stuff anymore. Lock it down and put those restrictions on so they can navigate it without any issues safely.
@Sarah your so right i did the same thing with my daughter ben and holly bluey, mrs rachel and teletubbes are her main ones and shes learned so much now she always walks up to me randomly and saids “mummy magic always leads to trouble😂” in the cutest little British accent and were not even British
Absolutely love paramount plus junior mode as well! We can watch bubble guppies and all the fun Nickelodeon jr shows super cute just like Disney plus I swear by them both🤣💕
I do use YouTube put it players on loop and I only have controls of the TV and my daughter is almost a year old and she watches Miss Rachel
pbs is free and has a ton of shows and games for kids!
