Combi feeding formula help!

My little guy is 5 months old on 7th November. Since 3 months he’s been having a bottle formula around lunchtime And the rest is breastfed. I want to add more formula in but he only takes 100ml per feed, max 120ml. Is anyone else’s baby the same I am worried he’s not getting enough?

We're transitioning to formula at the moment and my baby is the same. would love it if she would take bigger bottles less often but she won't. She's only small so only needs 750ml a day at the moment which we can normally achieve.

Yeah we’re the same. We started with 1 bottle of formula in the evening and we’ve built up to 2 or 3 bottles a day. We do 150ml bottles and sometimes he’ll have the lot but other times he’ll only have about 100ml. I just assume it’s because I don’t breastfeed to a schedule, just as and when he needs or it’s convenient so I guess sometimes he’s not as hungry. I wouldn’t worry too much if he’s growing 🥰

@Hattie thank you that’s really reassuring. How many times a day does she feed? Are you slowly phasing out breastfeeding? I want to stop but the bottle still feels like a bit of a battle!

@Anna thank you, sounds just like us! Roughly how many feeds are you on a day? Whcih feeds are formula?

@Isabelle she now only breastfeeds at night feeds because it's easier, we do bottles during the day. I'm not sure if my milk will dry up soon and it'll just be formula, just seeing how it goes. She has 6 120 bottles a day at the moment so any night milk is just an extra bonus most of the time. We've had concerns about her weight being slow which is why I'm transitioning and making sure she's taking enough x

I combo feed and I offer a full feed with the bottle which is 160ml -180ml and she takes it I am doing 3 bottles a day and baby does not feed during the night
