So where I live, there is a brewery that is extremely family friendly- think giant playground, one of those big air mattress jumpy things, large green space for playing bags/setting blankets down for picnic style/large building blocks/etc. essentially it's a playground that serves beer for the adults while their kids burn some energy. I have been there when there was first birthdays going on and the older kids at the party had fun, the smaller non walkers weren't very entertained and you could tell that the parents were struggling with that while trying to enjoy themselves and a lot of upset babies was kind of annoying to the other patrons of the brewery. That being said- do you have the option to rent out the space and make it a private event to not bother other patrons? Do you have activities arranged for the kiddos of all ages that will be there?
@Jenny that’s a very good point there’s an event space that’s separate from the main bar area, so it would be a private event where we could set up a safe play space for the babies with enough space to maybe get a bouncy house for the older kiddos, I’d be able to make a few different activity stations for the bigger kids and parents would be able to go outside and it’s a very similar set up to the one you’re describing with blocks and an area for kids to be kids minus a playground!
I wouldn't but that's because my family likes to drink and I don't want people drinking around my daughter at her birthday party lol
