Whining
Alright guys, so I went out of town this weekend and my daughter was with my husband the whole weekend. When I got home my husband said she was great all weekend and hardly cried and as soon as I got back she started up with tantrums and whining and crying. Why does she have worse behavior around me than with anyone else?

While it’s frustrating it’s actually just telling you, that you’re her safe spot Children have really big emotions and no idea how to handle them. With a safe person they’ll let all the big emotions out, because you will show them compassion and understanding Now I am not trying to say that your husband doesn’t. For you LO you’re just the one she trusts most It sucks but when we try to see it this way it can be easier. They show us, that they trust us
She feels most comfortable around you. Think of it as she’s already telling you about her problems, confiding in you

My son does the same with me and also my mom/his grandmother vs my husband and his grandfather…. I’ve read it’s pretty normal. Albeit frustrating 🤦♀️
