Yes, actually we have two convertibles, we opted to go the route of one per vehicle when we upgraded our son. We got an infant seat and then ended up needing a car seat test unexpectedly , so I'm honestly glad we didn't have to lug a convertible into the hospital. The infant seat definitely has a good convenience factor, tbh. Not sure if we'll go straight to a convertible for the next( not even pregnant currently) .... Due to the possibility of another kid under six pounds definitely being a possibility)
@Abie I'm actually offering up thhis seat for use with trade in! It's unknown history ( third hand seat, secondhand given by a friend who didn't use it themselves) and will be also expired by the time that the next trade in rolls around
This
@Abie which convertible do you have? Does it fit an under six pounds kid well?
@Abie car seats can be traded in to get things other than car seats
Maxi Cosi can be difficult. It's the fact version of safety first, made by dorel. Safety first and Maxi Cosi have overinflated maximums ( I've been in car seat groups on Facebook too long 🤣🤣🤣)
Fancy version
https://csftl.org/maxi-cosi-magellan-review/ oof, a review of the Magellan.... Not the easiest to install and bulky too. Yeah, I think I'd skip one that big
I’ve never heard of trades simply a suggestion. Go with whatever works best for your family.
Unfortunately, that car seat is not only bulky, it tends to not fit the under six pounds kids well . There's a possibility our next could also end up being under six pounds at birth and discharge both.... Even being early term to term born. Trades are a way that get a next car seat for a kid, a car seat for a new kid, or actually something else for a kid that's also usable with the coupon, because you can actually use the 20 percent off coupon on more than just car seats.... But that's the most well known thing and what most people use it for. In the end simply trying to offer up a seat that I will not use before it physically expires, and should not use due to its unknown history.... Both
Thank you all, the seat was taken apart into pieces and taken to the wake county convenience center
We went with a convertible car seat to avoid any transitions! Highly recommend
