No wee accidents but always poos in pants
Any advice on this? My 2.5 year old has been dry for a couple of months but always does poos in pants. He will tell you during or after he’s been. I’ve tried everything but nothing helps! His poos are never that solid which I think doesn’t help as he doesn’t ever have to strain/ get much notice. At my wits end! For context, he isn’t afraid of the toilet at all! He happily goes when we catch one my accident!
👋😉 Hi. I always have the best success using a small toddler potty on the floor for potty learning before introducing a child to sitting up on the regular big adult toilet. Its harder for a child to relax, relase or push to bear down for pooping if their feet are dangling and not grounded or if their legs are spread wide apart or hugging the side of the toilet. *Even if the child is perfectly comfortable on the big adult toilet Here's a helpful video that explains the benefits and effectiveness of using a small toddler potty for training vs the regular big adult toilet. As well as transitioning from the small learning potty to the big adult toilet. https://youtu.be/C4qHeQ5Ywm8 So my advice: Start with a small potty. (Especially for pooping) I explain in depth all the reasons why in this video.
