Well it's normal for children on the "modern diet", but I'd definitely experiment with other foods, even things you may not like or sneak them in. I put garlic salt and seasoning on my sons veggies when steaming them, I put cinnamon in the sweet potatoes I make him and stuff like that just to catch their interests. My son loves mac and cheese but I mix peas, carrots, and whatnot into it to ensure it's more balanced. I hope this helps and you can message me if you need some meal prep ideas! <3
Usually my son wants to eat/drink whatever I'm eating and so If i do eat something not healthy or if I'm having an adult beverage i make sure hes distracted playing or asleep lol
My son either goes through a phase of being healthy and loving the fruits and homemade meals then goes to refusing the ones he was eating the week before and I have to get him something fun 🤣
I think it's perfectly normal! All kids go through phases with eating. My LB was a fantastic eater up until about 6 weeks ago and now EVERYTHING has to have a dip or gravy otherwise he won't touch it! If your LO likes fries, I do suggest the mini waffles from asda that have carrot hidden in them too, an easy way to get littly's eating a bit of veg without realising xx
It’s normal if it’s given to them. Ofc they’re gonna choose fries over veggies lol. It’s up to you to start incorporating more well rounded foods. Try to aim for at least once a week of veggies and more variety of fruits not just berries and bananas. Like mango, star fruit, kiwi etc. it’s super easy to make meals and mix things in. Like making oatmeal with a bunch of strawberries. Or making your own pasta sauce with blended veggies and just adding a bunch of cheese. Eggs with spinach and cheese. Broccoli with cheese 😂 basically cheese solves everything
Completely normal 😂 I have to blend veggies into food for my kids to eat anything with nutrients aha!
