Ovarian Cysts during Pregnancy
Hi I am 10 weeks pregnant and had an emergency appointment today for severe right hand side pain. All is well with the baby but I have 2 cysts on my right ovary, 1 is 33mm and the other is 36mm. I am in so much pain, paracetamol is hitting the spot but only providing about 1hr of relief and then I feel it wearing off. They just said they would monitor them and to keep taking paracetamol but I literally have no gauge as to how many weeks I am going to be like this and/or what is unbareable when it comes to pain/managing? Anyone had similar experience
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome so always have cyst on my ovaries but they only really hurt when they flare up as in they grow. Mine typically only last a few days and they go down them selves but I’m not sure if it’s the same for your situation. Pain management wise there isn’t a lot that you can do apart from your pain killers. If it’s really bad try 2 paracetamol with 2 aspirin and see if that gives you longer relief (if worried about that part please consult a doctor or your midwife about medication)
