Atypical in what way? Was anything besides the sex atypical? Typically if an NIPT results come back as inconclusive it's due to low "fetal fraction" which basically means there wasn't enough of the baby's DNA in your blood sample to get good results. I had to have a redraw because I was positive as a carrier for cystic fibrosis, but it couldn't determine the baby's risk. Second round of results came back as low risk for baby.
atypical is different than inconclusive
Hi! Just here to say, hang in there mama. Baby will be okay. I’ve known if people who’s NIPT test came back abnormal but baby was fine and is still perfectly healthy years later. 🫶🏼
