Should I change my sons name

How old is your son? I think that makes a big difference 😅 Also is it easy to change his name where you live?

@Daria his current name is Dustin. I want to change it to Miles

@Rhiannon he’s 2 weeks old. Fairly easy just have to pay money to change it

Is your husband ok with Miles too?

You can still change, I would just make sure my husband is on board too

@Madison can you compromise, keep Dustin as middle name maybe? If you really don't like Dustin I don't see why not change it anyway

Yes change it. You can’t hate your son’s name. I like Miles but it would be good to get something you both agree on. It might not be his favourite choice but it sounds like his favourite is off the table so you need to reach a compromise. 2 weeks is nothing, in the UK you wouldn’t have needed to even register his name yet.

If you hate it you should change it. Just look up through names until you find one you both like. Also would it be possible to have 2 names so you both can pick one?

My baby had no name for 3 weeks, then we called him Myles! I think you should change it if you hate it, but do agree that it should be a name you both like/love!

@Kash I have one, it's a pain in the UK I found, nobody call me by my full first name and I have to explain all the time, sometime they even call me by the second half only, I just gave up 😅

My son is Miles. Another is Cayde I didn't like it but couldn't think of one I liked, my boyfriend chose it. Cayde is now a year old and at one point I liked the name Carter for him but couldn't imagine him being called anything other than Cayde now

I don't want to be rude but every miles I've met has been extremely mean

@Victoria you may be on to something here I have twins my miles is sometimes the nicer twin😂 but honestly I think they are both mean
