Morning sickness

Hey moms, I’m 5 weeks 4 days now and I’ve just starting to have morning sickness as I wake are there is a weird taste in my mouth that just makes me feel sick or I’ll have a sip of water as soon as I wake up and it makes me feel sick as well. Anyone had this same issue, If so how did you cope?

Oh yea and anything ginger flavoured helped. Biscuits, ginger tea or shots did it for me.

Juice or squash was the only thing that worked for me, as quick as possible when I woke up and it would help with the sickness and the taste

I had morning sickness (or in fact all day nausea) until 14 weeks. At around 12 weeks I got prescribed meds but they didn't work. It was awful - felt like I was hungover for weeks. But it did go!! Sorry that you are struggling

I had sickness for 5 months in my pregnancy worst time ever lol

Make sure the water you are drinking is cold. Idk why, but anything hot/warm would make me feel even worse.

I don't have it (yet fingers crossed, I'm 5 weeks and 2 days) but if I get it, I'll be taking these Natures Aid Ginger Root 500 mg 90 Tablets (Botanical Supplement, Providing Gingerols and Shogaols, Vegan Society Approved, Made in the UK) https://amzn.eu/d/9r82ox6
