@Keerthivasini were you diagnosed after giving birth too?
Yes. I was diagnosed at 6 weeks pp. I'm currently 7 weeks pp. I already went to emergency room twice.
@Keerthivasini aw bless you, it’s awful isn’t it. I was diagnosed 4 months pp. I am now 7 months post partum and got it removed a month ago
It definitely is awful and affecting my mental health with everything that's already going on. How was your recovery? Were you able to sit up on the day post surgery?
@Keerthivasini yeah it got to a point where I was scared to eat didn’t do good for my mental health. Yeah recovery have been good, was able to sit up but did sleep on the sofa due to the gas pain. I was fine 2 weeks post op and after I started to suffer with loose stools. It wasn’t everyday but some food affected it more than others
Thanks for sharing. Hope you feel your best!
Hello - I developed problems couple months after my baby & im due to have it removed next week! I’m nervous.. was the recovery manageable? Hope you’re both well x
@Tania me too, I was diagnosed after my having my baby. Recovery looks different for everyone but my recovery was okay wasn’t I’m too much pain
I was diagnosed in June while attending my 32 week ultrasound. Started getting painful attacks as soon as my son was born in September. Went to a&e and they sent me for an MRI scan. Waited a month for that appt and now been waiting a month for results. Not even on surgery list yet despite frequent attacks. Being told they won’t put me on the waitlist until they review my MRI results 😭 feel like I’ve just been left in limbo. Managing mostly with super low fat diet. But it’s rather depressing.
