Meltdowns with mum
Anyone else in the same situation?
I work part time and when my little girl is with me our days are filled with screaming and tantrums but when in nursery, with dad or family members they all say how happy she has been.
I just feel so disheartened, tonight my husband picked me up from work with our little girl and she just screamed the whole way home and it was like I’d got in the car and ruined her day.

Supposedly it’s to do with us being their safe space. Like the hold it in all day, and just explode when they’re with us! Very difficult!
I've heard the same as @Xanthe as I've often felt the same, as he's been abek to say more words... the tantrums have become less frequent. Still daily, just not as many x
Yes 😢 Absolutely get this!!! My little girl is an angel for my mum and her dad. When I have my day with her on Wednesdays I look forward to spending quality time with her, I take her out, keep her entertained and put all my energy into her, just to get tears, tantrums and clingyness and even when I cuddle her it’s a battle. I’m 31 weeks pregnant too and loosing the will 😫
Yes this week I am! Absolutely fine at nursery on Tuesday and with my MIL today, was honestly horrendously tantruming with me yesterday x
