Warning TMI noisy vagina

I had my 2nd baby back in June 2023 with a straight forward vaginal birth. I had an examination a month after to make sure everything was ok (bad birth for 1st baby) they said it was fine no prolapse etc. The past few months everytime I even move my leg, stand up, walk etc a wet sound comes from my vagina (no air) I am so self conscious of it. I know it isn’t just me as my husband asked what the noise was when I was working out. It is really affecting me and don’t know what to do. Other than the noise nothing is wrong.I have always had a good pelvic floor still able to pull it up fine. I feel silly contacting my GP. Does anyone else have this problem?

I’ve no experience of this personally but please don’t feel bad approaching your GP, I’m sure they’ve heard / seen it all and if it’s affecting your quality of life then that alone is reason to have it looked into. Absolutely no shame in that at all ❤️

Please do go to your GP, if it’s affecting your self esteem or mental health it’s always worth it. I had a small lump protruding after this birth. It wasn’t going away 6 months postpartum and went to GP. Female doctor very understanding who referred me to gynaecology and they removed it. (Turned out to be an overgrowth of my hymen) We’ve been through alot down there! Hopefully they have a solution for you. Xx
