Cows milk

So I’ve been slowing introducing cows milk into my lo bottles by adding it with his formula so he doesn’t notice it as much! We’re getting to the point where we are low on formula so we decided to give him only cows milk in his morning bottle today and he drank about an ounce of it and then was done. He has never refused milk before🙈 I’m wondering if it’s cos it’s cold, does anyone warm their babies cows milk before giving and if so what way do you do this? Thank you!

I warm it up just like her bottle would be warm so it’s not as much as a shock to her system 😂 a lot of people say don’t use microwave, but I do this in 10 second increments mix, then leave then mix again x

I always warm up my daughters milk as its what she's used to.

@Natalie plastic bottles are all BPA free now! Unless you’re using a cheap one from china BPA is no longer an issue

I warm on a jug in the microwave & then pour into the bottle x

Warm in microwave 30 seconds for 9oz

@steph I have to warm 8oz for 1 minute 10 seconds, and once it starts to cool my little one stops drinking it. He’s obsessed with hot drinks, wtf! X

@Natalya that’s true, lots of bottles don’t have bpa now. Many of them have bps though instead and other chemicals and they don’t know yet if they cause harm. I might be being over cautious x

I use an iron pan to heat anything too as it adds iron to food 😃

@Natalie I don’t have the time to sit at a hob heating it that way, each to their own of course. Any bottles I give my baby are all bpa free 😄
