Milk intolerance?

So my 8 month old has been on Aldi milk since he was born and has been totally fine, no gut issues or anything. He used to poo either every day or 2 days. About 8 days ago he started pooing about 10+ times a day all very runny. He had a bit of a rash and his bum was red raw but thankfully that’s cleared up now as he was in so much pain. We ended up at the docs and they said it was just a bug it would pass, he isn’t being sick and is still happily taking his bottles so isn’t dehydrated. He is also having some solids of bread etc just plain things to try bung him up, but nothing is working! My last resort is thinking a milk intolerance but surely he would be sick/in more pain from this? I maybe just need to be patient but it’s driving me insane! 😖

I don’t think it’s a milk intolerance, my little girl has CMPA and believe me you’d know! She was in agony covered in rash and refusing to have any milk! There would be very obvious signs of her had this or even an intolerance to the milk you get in Aldi 🙈 I think the doctors are probably right and he could just have a gastrointestinal bug, they don’t always all mean vomiting!! I’d give it a little while if he’s still drinking his milk and taking water and eating I personally wouldn’t worry to much, keep an eye for now and obviously if you are worried being his mummy then just head back to the doctors 💜

Thank you I appreciate this 😊 sorry to hear your little girl had to go through this! X

My daughter had a bug the diarrhea lasted about 4 weeks !!! I was so worried and thought it have been so many things but finally it eventually cleared, hope it stops for him soon!!

He could be teething

My baby gets a bit like this when he’s teething badly, we call them “teething poos”. They’re quite runny, a bit greenish at times and sometimes stringy. Could it be this?

Thanks very much everyone! X

My daughter is the same when teething.
