@Siân Is that all your dinners? Obviously a lot are easy to give bite size but what would you do with dinners like curry&rice, bolognese etc xx
@Jena we do cottage pie, spag bowl, chicken curry (milder), jacket potato without the skin, fish pie, chicken casserole etc. I usually make extra so I can freeze her portions for when we have something she can’t have x
I also buy her fish fillets she can have with homemade chips/rice/veg that are quick for just her x
@Siân I’m so nervous about foods like shepherds/cottage pie just because the mince and the small bits of veg. How have you gone about it? Other foods are easier to make into finger food size which in comfortable with. He loves chicken casserole/roast dinner and anything with sweet potato! X
I was nervous initially but just make sure the mince is broken down well and the veg is small and soft. I just make sure everything is well cooked so it goes soft x
@Siân Ahh okay! I’ll definitely make these meals in a couple weeks, once he’s used to more finger foods. He’s only had about 3 meals so far (fish+sweet potato fries that I made/roast dinner+yorkies/chicken fingers x
My little girl was the same! I used some of the purées when I made her pasta and used it like a sauce to finish them off. We pretty much give her a deconstructed version of what we have x
