8 weeks doesn't equal 2 months. Months and weeks are different things and each month has a different number of days. So if you're doing weeks and baby was born on a Tuesday, they're a week older every Tuesday. If you're doing months (more advisable after 2-4 months I'd say) then if they were born on the 21st they're a month older every time it's the 21st.
I only counted by weeks up to 10-12 weeks, then I counted by months based on birth day
I counted by weeks for the first 3 months, then after that I lost track, plus I didn’t want to tell people “oh my baby is 33 weeks” and make them do the math 😭
I count months but HV and Midwife counts weeks. X
Months as there's not always 4 weeks in a month ... My little boy was just over 17 weeks when he turned 4 months and will be almost 22 weeks when he's 5 months!
I did weeks until she hit 3 months (13 weeks 2 days) but with medical professionals they do weeks, she was also 4 weeks early so it’s more complicated doing months 😂
I counted by weeks up until 12ish weeks and then I lost track. Besides 12 weeks doesn’t really equal 3 months so it’s easier to just do months
Yes, both!
Months otherwise your baby wouldn’t be 1 (12 months) on the 21st🙃🙃🙃
Months as there isn't 4 weeks in every month.
