Whining a lot Recently

My baby has started to whine a lot during the day. He’s teething (no teeth to be seen yet though) but would that make him be whiny and cry pretty much all day on and off? Or is it just a phase? Anyone else’s baby started to whine a lot lately out of the blue? I don’t know if he wants attention or if he’s in pain or what’s going on, but it’s really annoying and I wish I understood why he’s all of a sudden acting like this 😞

My baby is teething and is the same, outbursts of crying, really needy and clingy and whiny

Yeah I've had the same for the past 6 weeks. Always reaching for the pain relief unfortunately as he just can't seem to get through a day without it at the moment. Seems to be worse towards late afternoon/ early evening before bedtime x

It’s horrendous at the minute for us too and yeah we’re having to give calpol quite often only been once a day and not every day but it’s that bad he needs it, omg yes he’s exactly the same! afternoon and leading up to bedtime x

Same here - later afternoons are worse! And I try to not use Calpol too much but it’s like every second day atm. And that’s pushing it, if I could I’d give him it daily. It’s just so hard, brings back ptsd from his colic weeks as a newborn.

Omg I am exactly the same!!! We struggled so much with him as a newborn with colic and reflux I literally said the same to my partner it triggers me so much x
