Granulation tissue treated with silver nitrate
Hello! Has anyone had granulation tissue from an episiotomy removed with silver nitrate? I had it this afternoon and now the local anaesthetic is wearing off it’s quite sore! Just wondering if anyone else has had it and how long it took to settle down and did it work?

Oh no 🤦🏻♀️ hopefully it works longer term for me! What sort of pain did you have that you needed to be resolved? I used to get stinging pain after peeing but that stopped a few weeks ago but I still get like a heavy intense ache when I’m on my feet a lot
Fingers crossed!! I had the exact same, I just used to get a really intense ache/tenderness if I was sat down for a long time or on my feet a lot! Xx

I had this! As my episiotomy didn’t heal correctly, I found it was sore for a few days after and then seemed to help with the pain for a few weeks, but then ended up having to have a steroid injection which I feel has worked much more!! X
