Sick after feeding when lying down

My baby is 3 weeks old and whilst I can watch in the daytime if she’s sick after a feed, I regularly burp throughout the feed, then a big burping after finished feeding, then keep her upright for 10-15 mins before laying down on back in the next to me crib at night. But she still sometimes is sick, it worries me but is there anything else I can do to help her not be sick when lying down? Is this called reflux?

My little one is a week old, and it's the same here. When we called the midwife, she said nothing to worry about, but I am definitely worried.

I was very worried about this too that i even went to the gp. Gp didn’t do anything and said it’s normal. My boy is 7weeks and he still spits up sometimes a lot, sometimes old milk. It even wakes him in the night, poor bubba. I found now that if i keep him upright for 45 minutes it minimizes. I used to keep him upright for only 30 min. Anything less he spits up, inevitable!

It’s just by the time you have sat them upright for so long, you put them down and then it’s time for them to wake up for the next feed leaving you with virtually no sleep 😴😴

truth!! exactly my struggle right now. I feed every 2 hours
