Any NhS workers?

I came back from mat leave in March 24 and I’m due again in April 25, will I still be entitled to full maternity pay? Someone has jyst asked me to check so I thought I would ask whilst I’m awaiting payroll to get back to me?

Yes they legally have to give you full maternity pay xx

@Immy thank you, I was starting to get really worried 😬

I can imagine but yeah legally they still have to give you 6 weeks at 90% and 7.5 months at £183 whatever it is haha x

The government one will be in full, your company matching will dependent on company policy (most need you to be 6-12 months working ahead of any additional company maternity pay they pay ontop of government but it varies!)

I was told by somebody at work that essentially you only need to work for 3 months in between maternities and should be fine but not checked it myself x

Yes you don’t even need to return I’ve had staff in my team that haven’t even returned (but obviously they got less maternity pay as it’s based on your qualifying weeks)
