They had me meet with a diabetic nutritionist and all I do is watch my sugars and protein and test myself 4x a day. Yes having placenta diabetes (I called it that once and it’s stuck as a nickname) is a pain but once the baby is out it goes away 98% of the time for the mother.

Going on the diabetic diet is hard especially if you’ve never had to watch what you eat. But once you figure out what’s good for you it’s actually a lot easier than you think. You should contact a dietician. They can show you what you can eat and what you can’t. Surprisingly you can eat a lot of food. Good luck, you’ve got this !! 👍🏼👍🏼
